Our house

Small in size, big in flavor

Before or after a visit to the Alhambra and the Albaicín, this tiny spot has a huge menu: specialty roasted beans — single origins from Colombia, Brazil, Guatemala and Ethiopia — a selection of more than thirty teas and infusions, and a counter of fresh Arabic sweets: baklava, piononos and pastries prepared fresh every day.

Freshly squeezed juices and Arabic lemonade with mint, served unhurried and at honest prices, with the calm that Anas and Osama bring to their craft every day — happy to chat in Spanish, English, Arabic or French.

📍

Less than a minute's walk from Plaza Nueva and Plaza Isabel la Católica — one of just two cafés on Cuesta de Gomérez, the street up to the Alhambra, and the only one still open through the evening, 5:00 – 9:00 pm.

Honestly, it's pretty simple. One espresso machine, and a rule we don't break: if we wouldn't drink it or eat it ourselves, it doesn't make the menu. Good beans, good tea, honest prices. That's the whole story.

★ Must try

Cappuccino, Ethiopian Beans

Single-origin beans from Ethiopia, pulled as a rich espresso and finished with good-quality local Granada milk, steamed silky-smooth. It's the cup our regulars ask for by name — and the one we're proudest to pour.
